John Boyd Hungerford Jr. (UNIR44) was a Railroad expert and he took photos of various steam engines as he realized they were being decommissioned and would soon disappear altogether. Another photo of No. 4267 “Cab-in-fronter” on the Modoc line taking on water. He is the photographer.
