Leland's Journey through Wiltshire
Edward Hungerford Goddard (UNEN1280), (1854-1947), Anglican clergyman, antiquary was the first editor of "The Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Magazine". He is thought to be a descendant of Francis Goddard (EN174spouse1). Volume I of the Magazine contains an article entitled Leland's Journey through Wiltshire that discusses the Hungerford family in the area of Farleigh Hungerford Castle.
