Hungerford Township (PLC25) is located in Plymouth County, Iowa in the northwestern part of the state. It is named after Ezra Styles Hungerford (SH370) who arrived in the vicinity from Illinois in 1856. Ezra held several important county positions during the early history of the township and county.
