A line of the Miles Family taken from the Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy
Pages 815-817 of this record entitled "The Ohio Quaker Genealogical Records" documents the David Miles (US16790) family. The Miles Genealogy, John Miles of Concord, Massachusetts and his Descendants, by Jonas M. Miles, published by C. E. Goodspeed & Company, Boston, 1920 gives two different children, including David, a birthdate that is not possible. It appears David was born much earlier than the author stated. If so--this Quaker genealogy documents the family which in turn supports a descendant, Mr. T. C. Miles' contention he traces back to the David mentioned as #60 on page 17.
