As indicated by the caption, this undated image shows two reproductions of Louis XV's “The Horse Tamers” sculpted by Franz Plumelet for Clarence Mackay and framing an expanse of lawn and balustrade.

The caption accompanying this image reads as follows:

Commissioned in 1739 by Louis XV, for the royal Chateau de Marly. “The Horse Tamers”, were moved to the Champs-Elysees and are now on display at the Louvre. Reproductions made for Clarence Mackay were sculpted Franz Plumelet.
