Doris Mae Bagnola Thumm (UNEN1129spouse1) and husband Harold became foster parents and this newspaper article reports a scary day or two they went through when one of their charges ran off briefly. The story was published on page 1 and 24 of the 12 Nov 1964 issue of Benton Harbor, Michigan's "The News-Palladium."
