This document is a copy of United States patent number 276,414 granted on April 24, 1883 to Elias B. Hungerford (US1734) pertaining to a new and improved rail-tie which is string, durable, and light, and which gives the rail a good and firm bearing, and can be removed or replaced very rapidly and conveniently.
