George Paddock Hungerford (US630) passed away in 1879. In the 19th century it was fashionable to express admiration for the deceased person and sympathy for the survivors by organizations to which the individual belonged through published newspaper statements called resolutions. This one was published on page 2 of the 21 Nov 1879 issue of the "Pontiac (MI) Gazette."
