The post card shows Farleigh-Hungerford castle and reads on the back: "The castle is now in ruins owing to the extravagance of Sir Edward--he died a pauper so the story goes. Charles II's court was his undoing. Yes! The ancestors were not saints. One Sir John gave a library to St. Johns Cambridge."
