Gen. John Pratt Hungerford (MD14) lived a fascinating life in the late 1700s and early 1800s. This is a copy of an article about this southern gentleman. Written by two of the THFFI founders--Richard W. Hungerford Jr. and Andre James Hungerford--the article is entitled "Soldier, Lawyer, Politician: Brigadier General John Pratt Hungerford" published in the Journal of The Hungerford & Associated Families Society Inc., Vol. 9, No. 4, November 2008, page 25.
