This document is a one page single spaced typewritten letter dated 3 Apr 1976 from Edward Buell Hungerford (SH932) addressed to Stanley W. Hungerford (SH1310).
He enclosed a check for $12.00 for two copies of Stan's book. He also said this:
"When I wrote to you some time ago I included in my letter a letter from a Professor Hungerford at Lawrence College in Kansas which dealt with a Captain James Hungerford, who may have been the first Hungerford to come to this country. I asked you to return it, but I haven't receivd it. Since it was the original which I sent you, I do want to recover it. Will you kindly look trough your papers and let me have it again."
