Richard W. Hungerford Jr. sent approximately 200 letters to Hungerford family members listed in a "Hungerford Genealogy" scam book that was only a listing of addresses found in phone books. He asked for genealogical data and piggy-backed this letter as a further request to assist in raising money to microfilm the Rev. Jackson Papers.
