John Arkwright (EN806dspouse1) maintained a diary during at least some of the 1840s and 1850s.  They were transcribed and one of them is here to be studied.  This was advertised as a diary belonging to John Hungerford Arkwright - which is accurate but misleading.  It was actually his father's diary.
