This was a condolence letter regarding the recent passing of John H. Arkwright (EN912) sent to John Stanhope Arkwright (EN922) from a Capt. N. H. Matthews.  As he is the eldest (and only) son, THFFI is assuming it was meant for him.  You can read it here.
